5 Truths About Being Classy

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"You are beautiful in every way, my friend, there is no flaw in you!"

~Song of Songs 4:7

Okay ladies, I want to talk to you all about being classy today--both in the way you dress and the way you act. The reason I want to address this is because I think women need to have high standards, and being classy is a good way to start. So here are 5 truths about being classy: 1. Being classy doesn't make you a prude--it makes you sophisticated. And with sophistication comes confidence in yourself and your actions. It is that kind of confidence that gives you the high standards required to make good decisions in the name of the Lord.

2. Being classy sets you apart from everyone else. Nowadays, we don't see many classy women on the streets, at school, at special events, etc. God calls each and every one of us to stand up for Him and be different, and people recognize and respect a classy woman when they see one. She stands apart from the rest!

3. De-classing yourself for the sake of getting a guy is so not worth it. If that guy is asking things of you that would lower your standards and morals, just move on from him. He doesn't deserve the chance to be with you, and you certainly deserve far better than him. Find a guy who appreciates your class!

4. The way you dress reflects your classiness. I'm sorry, but if you're showing too much skin where you shouldn't be, that brings your class down a lot. Girls really know how to show off what God has given them, but classy ladies manage to do that with sophistication and without bringing their standards down. Dress like God is standing right in front of you; He loves class.

5. Being classy will make you feel beautiful. I have this really pretty dress that I love, and I've worn it to so many events because I feel beautiful and classy in it. And when I see other women acting and dressing classy, I really notice and admire them. More times than not you will feel prettier in something that reflects your sophistication, both in personality and style. So let's step up the class ladies! That is my challenge for you on this wonderful Friday! Your Laughing Sister, Callahan
