C.A.L.M.

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"The LORD, your God, is in your midst, a mighty savior, who will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in his love, who will sing joyfully because of you, as on festival days. I will remove disaster from among you, so that no one may recount your disgrace."

~Zephaniah 3:17-18

I'm sure it hasn't escaped anyone's attention that I stress out a lot; consequently, I tend to write about what to do when you're stressed out a lot. (I don't think this is a bad thing, but if anyone is tired of the subject, let me know.) Anyway, last night was one of those nights where I realized how much I had on my plate and was starting to have an anxiety attack, and so I looked up to God and asked him to calm me down. It was only when I woke up this morning that I understood what I was saying when I asked Him to keep me calm: I was asking God to Come And Love Me. And what's even better is that God was saying the same thing back to me! What do I mean when I say that God was saying it back to me? It's my understanding that when I asked God to Come And Love Me (C.A.L.M.), He was saying that the best way to do so was to go and love Him too. We only have to look as far as loving God to feel the calmness start to sink in. I find that so amazing! So C.A.L.M. - I have officially come up with an acronym! It's quite astonishing what the Lord will provide you with when you are in need. My challenge for you ladies is to use C.A.L.M. whenever you are feeling stressed out, worried, concerned, or anxious about anything. Take care of yourselves, Daughters of Christ, and be CALM!
