I Have Evangelized, and it Feels Amazing!

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, as indeed you do."

~1 Thessalonians 5:11

I had the wonderful opportunity to take two other ladies to church with me this weekend. These two girls were not Catholic, although they have gone to other Christian denomination churches before. I was really excited that they wanted to join me; it's not as often as I would like that I get to share my beliefs and have them accepted by other people. I think what I was even more astonished by is the fact that they had questions to ask after Mass! But here is how you know that God has blessed you: when the people you bring to Mass ask if they can come with you again. That's right SheCanLaugh readers, I have evangelized, and it feels amazing! Let this be a lesson to us all: no matter how nervous you are to share your faith and live it in a world who wants us to forget about it, there are always other people searching for the Truth, and it only takes one little question or comment to get them thinking about it. I see it in the questions I was asked after Mass this weekend, and I see it in their interest in the ways of the Catholic faith: THEY WANT TO KNOW MORE! They yearn for it! So my challenge for you all is to mention, share, be proud of, and live the wonderful faith that God has given you. Let me be the first to say that you can do it! And the results are even more beautiful! Amen! Your Laughing Sister, Callahan
