Just One Drop of Jesus' Blood Washed Away My Sins

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life."

~John 3:16

Something that I have always just kind of known is that Jesus is my Savior. He died on the cross for me to take away mine and everyone else's sins, and He did that because He loves me more than anything. But when someone recently told me that they didn't really believe that Jesus was the Savior for dying on that cross, I have to admit I was taken aback. Like I said, I've always known that Jesus was the Savior for dying on the cross because it took away my sins.

But that doesn't mean that other people don't view it differently. I want us all, as sisters in Christ, to be prepared for other people in the world not thinking the way we do in terms of how we view Jesus. After all, where Jesus is a friend and protector to us, He may just be a stranger to others. It's weird to think of God as a stranger since He knows us so well, but this is where we need to have compassion and patience for people who still need to time to find God in that light. It's definitely an eye-opener when we realize just how much the world is missing without Jesus at the center of it. So my challenge for you all today is to remember just how much Jesus has saved us from, and, when you get the chance and words are necessary, share with others who may not believe in God that Jesus has saved us all from dying on the cross.
