She Needs to Sort Out Her Priorities

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:
"Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, 'How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!'”
~Mark 10:23
One word came to me during the Gospel reading today: priority. What is the number one priority in your life? Is it to protect and help your family? Is it to get a career and be able to support yourself? Is it to find your soulmate and start a family? None of those things are bad; in fact, if any of those are your number one priority, then I'd say you have a good head on your shoulders. But these are just earthy priorities. What should our actual, number-one priority be? God. Or better yet, finding a way to get to God - meaning making your way to Heaven. Lately, I've been finding a way to make room for all of my earthly priorities more than the ones God is calling me to; I find time for homework, watching TV, work, and hanging out with friends, yet I hardly make time to go and visit God in-between classes, go to weekly church events, or even just praying more. What does that say about my true priorities? Well, for starters, they're definitely a bit mixed up. But what I can do, what we can all do, to get back on the right track is fairly simple: LISTEN TO GOD.
So take up the challenge with me, my sisters: sort out your priorities, pray to the Lord for guidance, and listen to Him and what He wants from you on your earthly journey.
Your Laughing Sister,
Callahan
