Strangely Dim

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

~Ecclesiastes 3:8

There is a time for everything: a time to be happy, a time to be excited, a time to have fun, a time to mourn, a time to be sad, and there are even times for sarcasm. As the biblical point of reference points out today, there is also a "time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." There is a time for everything. So when is there a time for God? Always. When you take a second to have time for God, it's like everything around you is forgotten and blurry. As Francesca Battistelli puts it, everything goes "Strangely Dim". I was inspired by this song because it is about recognizing that the time for God is always, and that He is always around us. It's about noticing the peaceful bliss that God gives us on a daily basis. Today, my challenge for you ladies is to make everything else besides God go strangely dim, so that you can see His glorious light and His wonderful gifts. Your Laughing Sister, Callahan Check out the song that inspired today's article, "Strangely Dim" by Francesca Battistelli!
