The Straight and Narrow

BIBLICAL POINT OF REFERENCE:

"My steps have kept to your paths; my feet have not faltered."

~Psalms 17:5

When will we be able to say that we have not strayed from the path that God has laid out for us? When will be able to focus on the journey that God has called us to? I know - I just got really deep there. Whenever I read the Bible verse above, these are the questions that pop into my head first. Let's be real: We fall from God's path more times than not, and life doesn't seem to be getting any easier. In fact, it seems to be getting more difficult; more temptations, more pressure, more stress, and less places in society to find God. So when will we be able to look back on our lives without regret, knowing that we have not faltered from life's struggles? My answer: Keep your eyes on the prize. In this case, keep your eyes focused on Heaven and an eternity with God. It is my belief that we will be able to better ourselves by focusing on what will keep us looking up to God, mainly the promise of eternal life with Him.

Ladies, it is going to get better. The struggles you are all undoubtedly going through are but small challenges that we have to overcome to reach God in the end. Don't give up, please. Don't let your sins and your struggles keep you from trying again on the straight and narrow path. God is waiting, God is calling, God is loving - no matter what. I hope these words inspire you to walk with unwavering faith. I am praying for you all, and please pray for me too. Your Laughing Sister, Callahan
