You're lying if you say you haven't cried or jumped for joy while listening to Ed Sheeran's song, "Perfect". You'll find no judgment from me on this one - I've done the exact same thing, time and time again. To put it simply, the song is perfect.

Puns aside, I've had this song in my head for a while now. It's beautiful, sweet, deep, and says everything I'm not able to say myself. I'm sure every other girl would say pretty much the same thing, especially when describing how they feel about another person - namely, the man in her life.

Disclaimer: I try not to be too mushy with y'all, since that can get awkward really fast. But there's a time for everything, including mushiness.

God's love is perfect. It is amazing, transformative, and absolutely perfect in every way. When we're looking to feel loved, His love is what we should seek. When we need to understand authentic and true love, His love is what we will find.

If you're lucky, you find someone in life that reflects that kind of love, and will continuously share it and hold on to it with you. If you're lucky, you find someone who seeks to grow from your love because your love reflects God's love. If you're lucky, you find someone who knows that His love is perfect, and can make all things possible. And if you're lucky, God leads you to that someone.

And if you feel as though you haven't been as lucky, you need look no further than to the One who created you. You are the daughter of THE King. And that is the kind of love you deserve. Heck, it's the love you already receive from God.

Don't seek to find love in a human before you have sought it from God. And don't just seek it: understand it. Learn from it. Reach out to others with it. And love it. It's right in front of you after all.
